To encourage private landowners to preserve these incredible landscapes, our Utah ranches participate in the CWMU (Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit) program, which helps protect exceptional wildlife habitats.
From sagebrush flats and open parks to rich forests of aspen, pine, and maple, our guides know where to locate trophy elk. Elevations range from 4,500 to just over 11,000 feet. Utah’s remarkable terrain delivers awe-inspiring vistas and the perfect environment for healthy elk populations.

Most of our Wyoming ranches are located in prime elk habitat along the I-80 corridor, north of the Uintah mountain range, known for producing some of the best trophy elk in the country.
For more information or to book a hunt, please call or fill out our booking/contact page.

The CWMU program allows you to bypass the lottery or draw system by offering guaranteed landowner tags or hunting permits when you book directly with us.
For rifle hunters, elk season in Utah typically runs from September 1st through November 10th, while bow hunting begins around August 22nd.
In Wyoming, elk hunting is based on a lottery draw system. Group applications can include up to six hunters. The rifle season generally opens on October 15th and closes around October 31st. For archery hunters, September offers a full month of prime hunting opportunities, making Wyoming a top choice for bow enthusiasts.
